Dargaville Youth Charitable Trust is committed to providing programmes and support services that will improve and enhance the quality of life for children, young people, and their families residing in the Dargaville community.The main objective is to support children from disadvantaged backgrounds aged 5 -16 by giving them the opportunity to attend activities which assist their development and promote their well-being and that of their family/whanau.

Deaf Aotearoa is a Deaf-led, not-for-profit organisation that focuses on promoting awareness of, access to and advancement of New Zealand Sign Language - to help strengthen the rights of Deaf people and give them the confidence to be an active part of society. They provide services to Deaf people and information on a range of services for Deaf. They work with businesses and organisations to provide information and resources.All services are free, excluding some interpreting services which may incur a cost.

DEBRA NZ is a national charity that supports individuals and families affected by Epidermolysis Bullosa (EB), a rare genetic disorder that causes fragile, blistering skin and other health issues. They provide individuals and families with emotional and social support, educational information and assist them in obtaining appropriate medical care (including genetic counselling).

The Early Psychosis Intervention Service provides support and treatment to people between the ages of 13 and 35 who are experiencing a “first psychotic episode” and who live in the Northland area. Their objective is to provide a service to people who experience acute mental illness and to assist them with maintaining mental wellness.

EDANZ is a charitable organisation of parents who have experience in supporting a loved one with an eating disorder. They provide support, practical advice and understanding for parents and carers so they can help their loved one recover. They also provide education and advocacy for early detection, improvements in recovery outcomes and a clear and accessible pathway to evidence based treatment. The information they provide is accurate to the best of their knowledge. However, they are not medical professionals and urge anyone concerned about health issues to seek professional advice.
