Te Roopu Whitiora is a specialist Kaupapa Māori service for Māori, between the ages of 18 to 65 years, who are experiencing symptoms suggestive of psychosis or schizophrenia. They are culturally and clinically responsive to the needs of Whaiora and their Whānau through the stages of their journey. If you or your Whānau are worried about your safety or their safety, our service can be contacted directly.

Age Concern are a charitable organisation for over 65s providing services, information, education, advocacy and support. They are committed to promoting wellbeing, rights, respect and dignity for older people.

Alzheimers Northland provide expert help and support directly to families affected by dementia; helping them to live their best life. They provide:• Help for carers• Home carer seminars• Day programmes for people with dementiaThey also share their knowledge and expertise with professionals through their education programme.

The Amputee Society offers support and advice to all amputees and their families.

The Anglican Care Centre provide free and confidential budgeting advice with a trained Financial Mentor; where you can be assisted with building financial capacity and aspects of your personal budget.They also offer Money Mates - a 5-6 week, two hour block course on money management. This course is for anyone who wants to learn to gain greater control over their finances alongside others. It’s fun, informative and FREE.

The Seniors Community Workers at the Anglican Care Centre are there to help facilitate access to the support you may need to help you live independently in the community. This is generally a service for over 65’s and it is free. They also provide the following free services for older adults:• Senior Chef – a cooking and nutrition course for over 65’s• Senior Tech – technology support and assistance for over 65’s

Aoake te Rā is a brief therapeutic support service funded by the Ministry of Health. They provide support and manaaki to individuals, whānau and communities who have lost someone to suicide. Aoake te Rā is:• Free• Available to all ages and at any stage after bereavement• Available for individuals, couple or whanau groups. They offer face to face, online and phone services.

ALACINC provides nationwide support services under the principles of El Buen Vivir (Well-being) and Te Tiriti o Waitangi, for families undergoing stressful resettlement issues.
