• Are you feeling stressed or just need someone to talk to?• Are you feeling down or a bit overwhelmed?• Do you know someone who is feeling out-of-sorts or down?Whatever it is, 1737 are there. ‘1737, need to talk?’ is New Zealand’s national mental health & addictions helpline number. Free call or free text 1737 any time, 24 hours a day, 7 days a week to talk to (or text with) a trained counsellor or you can talk to a peer support worker. Their service is completely free.

Youthline provides a number of services for young people, families and adults. As well as the free helpline Youthline offers face to face and web-based counselling including ACC funded support (non-ACC funded counselling incurs a cost determined on a sliding scale from $40 to $120 per hour), mentoring, Youth Services, workshops, programmes and volunteer helpline training.
