Overview
Mixit is a creative project for young people from refugee backgrounds mixing it up with migrants and locals. It helps increase confidence, self-expression and communication skills. The creative disciplines used are performing arts based and include dance, drama, music and aerial circus. Mixit regularly performs & runs open courses, which don't require previous experience but do need willingness to turn up regularly. Mixit runs creative workshops every Saturday of the school term 2-4:30pm. Mixers come from all over the greater Auckland area. Support with transport is available for those outside of the Western suburbs.

There are growing number of Chinese youths migrating to New Zealand. NZCYT aim to address the alienation felt by many young Chinese migrants who are prevented from involvement in the mainstream community due to language and cultural barriers. Vagus Centre

Overview
The Vagus helpline is open Mon, Wed, Fri 12 noon – 2pm. It is one of the services provided by the Chinese Mental Health Consultation Service Trust. They provide a FREE counselling service to Chinese Individuals/ families having difficulties in relationships and parenting issues.
