Addictive Eaters Anonymous (AEA) is a worldwide Twelve Step fellowship based on Alcoholics Anonymous. AEA members have found recovery from binge eating, anorexia, bulimia, other forms of addictive eating and compulsive exercise. Through working the Twelve Steps of AEA members find peace of mind and the ability to live a meaningful and productive life. AEA have several regular Zoom meetings each week to which all are welcome. The vision of ADHD New Zealand is to advance the ADHD Community by providing practical information and support. ADHD New Zealand provide phone, email, website and Facebook support, post extensive information packs to members, publish a bi-monthly E-newsletter and provide library resources. They also provide the opportunity to interact with others within their ADHD community through Parent education courses, awareness events, ADHD Kids Basketball programme, private Facebook groups and Adult groups.

A national charity, Allergy New Zealand provides information and resources to help with understanding what allergies are, including food allergy and anaphylaxis, where to go for diagnosis and treatment, and how to manage allergies day to day. The Amputee Society offers support and advice to all amputees and their families.

AphasiaNZ provides support services, information, education and resources to people affected by aphasia after stroke, head injury, brain tumour, and Primary Progressive Aphasia (PPA).AphasiaNZ educates communities about the nature and effects of aphasia.

Arthritis New Zealand offers health advice and support from trained health professionals by phone, email, online courses and social media.They provide information/advice and management for all types of arthritis, such as Osteoarthritis, Rheumatoid Arthritis, Gout Arthritis, Psoriatic Arthritis, Ankylosing Spondylitis, Fibromyalgia, Lupus, Sjogren's Syndrome, Scleroderma, Juvenile Idiopathic Arthritis etc.

Asthma NZ are committed to providing education, training and support for all New Zealanders to ensure that they live well with respiratory conditions. No one should suffer from asthma.

Auckland Down Syndrome Association Inc (ADSA) can provide support for new parents who have received a diagnosis of Down syndrome for their baby. Blind Low Vision NZ is the main provider of practical and emotional support for people who are blind, deafblind, or have low vision.BLVNZ equips people with the skills needed to participate fully in society, which includes support in living independently and getting around, help with technology and ways to continue reading and communicating, and advice on employment.

Body Positive Inc. is a group founded by and run for people with HIV/AIDS. They welcome all people living with HIV and AIDS in New Zealand. Body Positive Inc. breaks down isolation and builds a sense of community while advocating on behalf of HIV+ people on a national level.

Bowel Cancer NZ are a patient focused, nationwide charity offering support to patients, whanau and survivors of bowel cancer in New Zealand.

Their team of professional staff and volunteers are there to help people with cancer, their whanāu and supporters. Coeliac New Zealand is a membership-based not-for-profit organisation. Their vision is to help people with coeliac disease live healthy lives every day by providing advocacy, support, information and resources.

Cystic Fibrosis New Zealand provide information and support for people with Cystic Fibrosis and their families. A Family Support Co-ordinator is available for home, hospital or office visits. They also provide regular meetings for education and patient contact.

Diabetes NZ Auckland Branch encourages and educates Aucklanders to live life well. They provide support and education to those living with diabetes and those at risk of diabetes; promoting wellness and, encouraging early diabetes detection and treatment. Their mobile awareness service attends community events and locations, to inform, educate and test those most at risk of type 2 diabetes. Diabetes Auckland also have support groups across Auckland that meet regularly to improve knowledge about diabetes management and provide supportive friendships.

The Diabetes Self Management Education (DSME) programme is a free course for people with Type 2 Diabetes. This course will teach you how to live well with diabetes through medication management, diet, exercise, avoiding complications from diabetes, and managing stress. You are encouraged to bring a support person (for example, the person who does the most cooking in your house!).Most of their courses are held as one day sessions.

The Dyslexia Foundation of New Zealand website is designed to provide the most comprehensive and up-to-date information about dyslexia in New Zealand. It also provides listing information for most of the providers of dyslexia assessment and assistance (including support groups) in New Zealand.

The Dyspraxia Support Group provide support and education for all people impacted by Developmental Coordination Disorder (DCD/ Developmental Dyspraxia).

EDANZ is a charitable organisation of parents who have experience in supporting a loved one with an eating disorder. They provide support, practical advice and understanding for parents and carers so they can help their loved one recover. They also provide education and advocacy for early detection, improvements in recovery outcomes and a clear and accessible pathway to evidence based treatment. The information they provide is accurate to the best of their knowledge. However, they are not medical professionals and urge anyone concerned about health issues to seek professional advice.
