Dedicated to reducing incidence of stroke and improving treatment outcomes Community Stroke Advisors are available to work with stroke survivors, their family, whanau and carers. Their role ensures people achieve the best possible outcome after stroke. Service is free. Stroke Clubs unite people affected by stroke and provide social occasions for stoke survivors – please contact the Stroke Foundation for details.

Overview
The Heart Foundation is New Zealand's heart health charity, leading the fight against our country’s biggest killer – heart disease. We provide support, care and advice for people and their families affected by heart disease. The Heart Foundation funds cutting edge research and specialist training for cardiologists, while our education and prevention programmes tackle heart disease head-on in the community. Through our work with children, we create a foundation for keeping hearts healthy into the future.
