Overview
The Blind Foundation is New Zealand's main provider of practical and emotional support for people who are blind or have low vision. It equips people with the skills needed to participate fully in society, which includes support in living independently and getting around, help with technology and ways to continue reading and communicating, and advice on employment.

Overview

BreastScreen Waitemata/Northland provides a free national breast screening programme that checks New Zealand women for early breast cancer. The programme aims to reduce the number of women dying from breast cancer.
