Overview
CMA run morning day centers throughout the community to provide companionship and activities for isolated older people. Centres run from 10.00am till 12.30pm and provide morning tea and lunch. Transport is provided for a nominal donation. Approved ACC strength and balance exercises for all levels, games, speakers and outings are all enjoyed in a safe and nurturing environment.

Overview
Coast Youth Community Trust is an independent charitable entity established to work with 11-18 year old and their families on the Hibiscus Coast. The objective is to provide leadership, direction and management of resources to nurture, support, mentor and coach young people, their caregivers and their families. We run FWD, a year long Youth Guarantees course designed to provide 16-19 year olds with an opportunity to study towards their NZQA level 2 qualifications aligned with Vocational Pathways. Youth Service working with young people aged 16 - 17 years who are not in education employment or training to set goals, improve wellbeing and increasing confidence to achieve and create positive futures for themselves and their whanau. Also support young people who are unable to live at home due to relationship breakdown, and young parents, their children and their partners. Financial costs associated with accommodation and education are covered, in addition to setting goals and improving wellbeing.
